Transplant Guide
Aero-Plants™ can be transplanted into any grow medium (soil, coco, grow cubes, neoprene) and into any application (solid medium, hydroponics, aeroponics).
Step 1
Preparation: Aero-Plants™ are primed to grow, your grow medium should be also! Below are the 3 methods your Aero-Plant™ is best utilized with.
Soil is the most common and forgiving grow medium. It requires many organic processes to occur simultaneous to growth. For soil planting, prepare a hole approximately 2x larger than the roots in the Plancubator™. Then proceed to step 2.
Hydroponics is the next advancement in catalyzing the roots’ nutrient absorption. This involves having a rigid medium surrounding the roots and an ebb & flow water delivery system. Some commercial hydroponic systems include Aero-Gardens™ (a separate company), which utilize a fitted net pot. A net pot is a plastic pot that has slotted openings for the roots to grow through. A rigid medium is placed in the net pot to stabilize the plant and pass nutrient water through.
Aeroponics is the crème de la crème of farming. Growers control the most minute factors in nutrient delivery, environmental systems, lighting, and plant cycles which enables them to engineer the art of growing a plant. Plants are generally placed in Neoprene or Coco Coir collars, and their free hanging roots are misted in intervals.
Below are common mediums utilized in each method of growing.

Step 2
Once you have chosen a grow medium and have it prepped, its time to remove your Aero-Plant™ from the Plancubator™.
> Slide the Plancubator™ out of the box, then
place on a flat surface.
> Use slight force to loosen the corners of the
LED top from each pillar.
> Twist each Pillar out of place.
> Remove the clear tape, and the lids next.
> Gently, lift your Aero-Plant™ from the base.
*Some HydroNutrientCrystals™ (HNC’s) may want to fall out of the base as you lift the plant, these are non-toxic but do contain minimal biomaterial and edible silicone. We DO NOT recommend digesting them.
Step 3
Into Soil – place your Aero-Plant™ in the prepared hole from Step 1, then fill area around the roots with soil. Keep the soil watered well immediately, and for the first few days. For optimal acclimation we recommend planting during evenings or early mornings. This will transition your Aero-Plant™ into light with ease.
Into Hydroponics – place your Aero-Plant™ into a net pot (or like device), and gently pull the roots through the slots. Then fill with a hydroponic aggregate (list in Step 1). It’s now ready to place into a hydroponic system!
Into Aeroponics - Above where the roots start, place a collar on your Aero-Plant™. Then place into your aeroponic device!
Step 4
Love, water, nutrients & light!
Enjoy!
*Aero-Plants™ are intended to be transplanted immediately although they will remain stable in the Plancubator™ for a considerable time.
